Key Workers and the Skillskool where necessary, liaise with a child’s previous setting, where applicable Basic information is collected from parents when they first join Skillskool.

A few weeks after entry to Skillskool, baseline data is collected through the use of observations and adult initiated activities The information collected is discussed at staff meeting so that all staff can contribute to the identification process.

We have regular parent meetings and take into account any concerns raised by Parents. We pride ourselves on having an ‘open door policy’ where at any point parents can talk to staff. Once we have enough information we work closely with the professionals for Occupational Therapy, speech and language, physical Education, ADL Cognitive skills and Educational Psychology

We also provide home sessions as per to the needs and requirements from the parents. We have a very efficient team of highly experienced professionals who work very closely with the parents to achieve the desired goals.
